Our incredibly talented cook at work preparing dinner- the meals were some of the best we had in Bhutan: a full spice rack and baskets in background filled with 9 chickens, fresh vegetables and fruit for entire week, and even surprise treats such as apple pie & chocolate bundt cake

At the 16,000 foot Nyilela Pass pass our Tibetan camp boy, a past monk, helped me hang our prayer flags - two for the deceased, one for my good luck year of iron (white), and one for Mark & Kelly Shafer (yellow)

What a difference a day makes!  We woke to 8 inches of snow at our Jomolhari Base Camp - Left to right:  Mark & Kelly Shager, Bob Holmes, Andrea Johnson, Robert 'Skp' Sandber, Amanda Mason.  Mani wall with prayer flags & old fortress shadowed by the massive 24,000 foot Himalayan peak
