
School children sing us a song near Jomolhari Base Camp – most walk 1 hour to school each way over 1,000 feet elevation

Our incredibly talented cook at work preparing dinner- the meals were some of the best we had in Bhutan: a full spice rack and baskets in background filled with 9 chickens, fresh vegetables and fruit for entire week, and even surprise treats such as apple pie & chocolate bundt cake

At the 16,000 foot Nyilela Pass pass our Tibetan camp boy, a past monk, helped me hang our prayer flags – two for the deceased, one for my good luck year of iron (white), and one for Mark & Kelly Shafer (yellow)
